Fantástica ilustración de Alex Ross inspirada en la película de Quentin Tarantino 'Django Unchained' (2012), acompañada de una de las canciones que integran su banda sonora: 'I Got a Name' (1973), del tristemente malogrado Jim Croce. Enjoy!

Justamente ayer estabas viendo la pelicula en cable y es un gran trabajo de Tarantino, con ese toque de spaghetti western que tanto supo formar parte de mi juventud cinefila
Muy buenas, Barragán.
Efectivamente, el gran acierto de la película es saber recrear el espíritu del spaghetti western que tú mencionas. En ese sentido, me parece magistral el cameo que hace Franco Nero (el Django original, el primer actor -en una larga lista- en interpretar al personaje en la película de Sergio Corbucci de 1966) en la escena de la pelea a muerte de los mandingos en la mansión de monsieur Candie. Impagable el cruce de miradas entre Nero y Jamie Foxx.
Pero el director no sólo triunfa al recrear el alma del spaghetti western en esta película. También rinde homenaje al género blaxploitation del cine de los 70. Tarantino es un experto en fusionar géneros y que la mezcla resulte realmente buena, tanto que no me extrañaría que crease escuela y dentro de poco las salas de cine estuvieran inundadas de westerns que siguieran las pautas marcadas por él en Django Unchained. Y si no, al tiempo.
